Depending on the lot, evaluation may use XRF screening, melt sampling, fire assay, or third-party refining data.

Results & Settlement

We provide the applicable results and settlement calculation before payment under agreed account terms.

Testing matched to the material

XRF is useful for rapid, non-destructive surface screening, while a properly homogenized melt and representative sample may provide a more reliable basis for settlement on mixed scrap. The method used depends on the material, lot size, and service selected.

Avoid absolute “100% accurate” claims. Every analytical method has limitations, and final terms should identify the method used.
